Live backlink list
Backlink Sites
Explore 2,136 backlink sites observed linking to AI and SaaS products. Compare recorded prices, link attributes and submission routes in the backlink list, then check each site's requirements before submitting.
The backlink list
One row per backlink site, in order of how many AI products each one links to. Recorded routes may need confirmation. Narrow by cost, link seen, account or recorded route, then compare the details in each row.
For backlink sites focused on submissions, browse our curated directory lists.
These sites have linked to AI products; not all accept submissions. Latest recorded update may reflect a metrics import, not a submission check, so price and route details can be older.

How to shortlist backlink sites
Most backlink sites on any list are a poor fit for one product. Three passes get you to a short list.
1. Narrow the list of backlink sites
Set Cost to No fee listed and Recorded route to Form to find potential no-cost submissions; add No account to narrow further. Confirm that submission is free and that the form accepts product listings before you start.
2. Compare DR, backlink type and fit
Use DR as one comparison point, not a quality score. Audience fit, editorial standards and a relevant listing page matter more; the backlink type alone does not tell you whether one of these backlink sites is worth the time.
3. Submit, then track it
Open each backlink site from its row. For directories, the free checklist on our directory lists records what you submitted, and our index checks show whether a listing and its backlink appear in search.
How to read the backlink list
Use the filters to narrow the backlink sites, then compare the details in each row.
DR, where we have it
Rows carry the domain's Ahrefs Domain Rating when known. DR scores a whole domain's backlink profile, so for backlink sites on a shared host such as vercel.app the row shows the host's score, marked “(host)”.
Observed link type
Link seen records whether the backlink we observed was dofollow or nofollow. It is an observation, not a promise; blank means none was recorded.
Price and sign-up before you click
Cost shows whether the source lists a submission fee for the backlink site; paid rows show the lowest price found, in US dollars. “No fee listed” does not confirm free submission. Account shows whether you need to sign up first.
Latest recorded update
The date may reflect a metrics import rather than a check of price or route, which can be older. Backlink sites change their rules often, so confirm the details on the site itself.
Choose your submission route
Backlink sites fall into three routes, each with a different kind of effort. Start where the effort is smallest.
Directories: submit a form
Directories are the backlink sites built for this: submit your product for review. If accepted, the directory publishes a listing, usually with a backlink; review times and link attributes vary. Our curated lists split them into free AI, paid AI and SaaS directories.
Guest post sites: pitch an article
Some publications accept contributed articles, often with a backlink in the text; others only sell sponsored posts. It takes a pitch and a draft, and we list these backlink sites for research only.
Blogs and other backlink sites
Review blogs, round-ups and tool pages give a backlink to products they mention. Fewer of these backlink sites take a direct submission; the Recorded route column shows which have one on record.
Sources and verification
The backlink list is the same database our directory lists run on.
A monthly source ranking
We import a monthly third-party dataset of backlink sites observed linking to AI products, with DR, traffic, link type, listed fee and submission route for each site.
Dates, and what they cover
Imported metrics and hand-checked submission details can carry different dates; the row shows the latest one recorded. Confirm availability and price on each backlink site before you submit.
Kept, not deleted
A monthly update adds new backlink sites and refreshes metrics. Submit links and prices someone confirmed by hand are not overwritten by the import.
Counts from the current table
Every count of backlink sites on this page comes from the table when the page loads. If the backlink list shrinks, the numbers shrink with it.
Backlink sites: FAQ
What are backlink sites?
Backlink sites are websites that link out to other sites; each such link is a backlink. This list covers product directories, publications, blogs and other backlink sites observed linking to AI and SaaS products. Being listed here does not mean a site accepts submissions.
Are free backlink sites worth it?
Some backlink sites with no fee listed are worth a submission; others bring little relevant exposure. Filter Cost to No fee listed, confirm that submission really is free, then check audience fit and requirements before you spend time on a listing.
How is this backlink list different from other lists?
It focuses on backlink sites observed linking to AI and SaaS products. Next to DR and backlink type it records submission route, account rule and listed price, so you can judge the work involved before you visit.
What does DR measure?
DR is Ahrefs' Domain Rating, a 0–100 score of a domain's backlink profile. It does not measure relevance, editorial standards or what one backlink will do for your rankings; for backlink sites on shared hosts it is the host's score.
Should I only use dofollow backlink sites?
No. An observed dofollow link does not guarantee a ranking benefit, and nofollow links from relevant backlink sites can still bring visitors. Prioritise audience fit and editorial quality over the link label.
How often is this list of backlink sites updated?
Metrics and new backlink sites arrive with a monthly import, and rows are re-checked over time. The Latest recorded update column shows the most recent date we hold for each row.
How do I know if backlink sites accept submissions?
Check the Recorded route column first: backlink sites with a form or email on record are the place to start. Then open the site itself. A route on record is a contact point, not proof of a listing or a backlink.
Are paid backlink sites worth it?
Sometimes. Paid backlink sites show the lowest listed price in the Cost column. Compare it with the audience and DR, and confirm what the fee buys (a listing, a review or a sponsored post) and whether it includes a backlink, before you pay.
Which backlink sites should a new AI tool start with?
Directories. Of the backlink sites in this list, product directories are the ones built to take submissions. Filter Type to Directory, or start from our curated free AI directory list.
Can I submit to these backlink sites automatically?
AutoFill fills submission forms on supported directories, at one credit per directory it submits. It does not cover every one of the backlink sites in this list or guarantee acceptance, and we do not arrange guest posts or blog placements.
